I often suffer from Insomnia, especially when I'm stressed. I find that two things help me the most (I never take pills). First, going for a half an hour walk after an early dinner is a simple but effective cure as it makes me tired enough to sleep. Second, I make sure, however great the impulse, to not sleep during the day. This ensures that I'm tired and sleepy at bedtime.
