Hi,

Why is it a "travelling installation project"? Is it in a mobile vehicle or does he carry it with him from city to city? Please clarify in the article. Again, it is an interesting off-beat news iitm for a Sunday paper. What is it doing here? Could you also discuss its advantages and disadvantages vis a vis other contemporary way of art collection.

There are sveral things I am not clear about. For eg --

"So, if it is not about ‘consumption’ and only about experience, is it not leaving in the viewer a bitter envy rather than a liberating experience? Or, is it the sheer presence and excess of these art-cultural objects that any art lover would love to possess, and the excitement that it creates in us that the installation is working at?"

Why should the viewer in any way feel better or liberated? What is the installation working at?

"In other words, the question/ing of space cannot be limited to the space of the gallery alone, but definitely extends to the emotional/social/political world that surrounds not only the gallery but also the viewer."

Its a loaded statement. I am not clear about how this installation extends to the "emotional/social/political world". Please explain.
