Eco-Feminism

The eco-feminism views that the oppression of women and nature are interconnected. The primary aims of eco-feminism are different from liberal feminism as eco-feminists do not seek equality with men as such, but aim for liberation of women as women.

The movement believes that there can be no liberation for women and no solution to the ecological crisis as long the fundamental model of relationships continues to be one of domination. Women and nature must unite to bring about this solution.
