I would also like to know which particular lakes, regions, species of fish have been affected by acid rain in North America. The author mentions that several places in Asia are also affected? Which are these? Which species are affected there?

Is there a connection between industrial activity and acid rain in aparticular region or does sulphur emissions in one region leads to acid rains in another?

What particular actions are being taken to combat acid rain in various parts of the world?
